Chaque ann\u00e9e universitaire, le Centre des Politiques de la Terre questionne les effets de ses termes – \u00ab\u00a0centre\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0politiques\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0terre\u00a0\u00bb – et de leurs cha\u00eenes d’interd\u00e9pendance en organisant mensuellement des s\u00e9minaires interdisciplinaires – invitant des scientifiques ext\u00e9rieur.e.s au Centre et issu.e.s des sciences naturelles et exp\u00e9rimentales & des sciences humaines et sociales – sur une probl\u00e9matique particuli\u00e8re. Chacune des s\u00e9ries de s\u00e9minaires du Centre se conclut avec un colloque convoquant des jeunes chercheur.se.s ext\u00e9rieur.e.s au Centre \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter leur propre recherche sur la probl\u00e9matique travaill\u00e9e pendant l’ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les leviers de transformations \u00bb<\/h2>\n

Le s\u00e9minaire 2024\/2025 du Centre des Politiques de la Terre sera consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux conditions de possibilit\u00e9 et aux enjeux d’un projet de transformation de nos modes d’habiter la Terre, ouvrant la voie \u00e0 un avenir climatique et environnemental moins sombre et plus \u00e9quitable. Quelles seraient les implications d’une v\u00e9ritable transformation socio-\u00e9cologique \u00e0 la mesure des d\u00e9fis actuels, du point de vue des multiples dimensions de l’habiter humain et social ? Quels leviers pourraient d\u00e9clencher cette transformation ? Au cours des s\u00e9ances, nous explorerons plusieurs de ces leviers, en y incluant \u00e0 la fois des approches th\u00e9oriques transformatrices porteuses d’une alternative de monde, ainsi que des objets ou des champs empiriques. Les premi\u00e8res se caract\u00e9risent par leur puissante vis\u00e9e pragmatique : de la perspective de la d\u00e9croissance<\/strong> \u00e0 celle de la justice climatique et environnementale<\/strong>, aux \u00e9cologies d\u00e9coloniales et<\/strong> indig\u00e9nistes<\/strong>. Elles d\u00e9clinent une notion holiste de transformation<\/strong>, en appelant \u00e0 des changements de paradigme \u00e9conomique, politique et socio-environnemental. Les deuxi\u00e8mes se caract\u00e9risent pour \u00eatre des creusets de r\u00e9flexivit\u00e9s\u00a0: de la sant\u00e9<\/strong> \u00e0 la nourriture,<\/strong> du climat<\/strong> aux dynamiques terrestres<\/strong> (et aux pratiques de savoirs qui les ciblent). Ces champs empiriques, investis par les \u00e9cologies anthropoc\u00e9niques, le productivisme et l\u2019extractivisme, offrent en effet autant d\u2019occasions d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter d\u2019autres agencements \u00e9cologiques, en enclenchant des transformations de plus ample \u00e9chelle. Ils sont des objets hybrides \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e des disciplines, au carrefour entre Nord et Sud, entre l\u2019\u00e9chelle locale des territoires habit\u00e9s et les enjeux globaux de gouvernance, ainsi qu\u2019entre le pr\u00e9sent socio-environnemental et le futur \u00ab\u00a0profond\u00a0\u00bb de la Terre. Travers\u00e9s par les rapports de force g\u00e9opolitiques, \u00e9pist\u00e9miques et sociaux, ils offrent un point d\u2019ancrage pour les transformer. La notion de transformation <\/strong>dont ils sont porteurs se traduit dans des engagements transformatifs<\/strong> plus situ\u00e9s<\/strong>, mais porteurs d\u2019effets \u00e0 cascade.<\/p>\n

Ce s\u00e9minaire, pens\u00e9 comme un va-et-vient entre th\u00e9ories pragmatiques<\/strong> et empiries r\u00e9flexives<\/strong>, se propose comme un espace pour penser ce que cela implique, concr\u00e8tement, de transformer nos fa\u00e7ons d\u2019habiter la Terre. Le concept de \u00ab transition \u00bb \u00e9cologique a connu ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es une popularit\u00e9 consid\u00e9rable. Des plans de reconversion \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique nationaux au\u00a0greenwashing<\/em>\u00a0des entreprises priv\u00e9es, en passant par les revendications des mouvements \u00e9cologistes, le champ politique associ\u00e9 \u00e0 cette notion s\u2019est de plus en plus \u00e9largi. Est-ce qu\u2019il court le risque de devenir un signifiant vide\u00a0? Lors de cette premi\u00e8re s\u00e9ance du cycle de s\u00e9minaires annuels du Centre des Politiques de la Terre, notre objectif est d\u2019explorer la g\u00e9n\u00e9alogie de ce terme, les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9coles de pens\u00e9e et les exp\u00e9rimentations qui s\u2019y rattachent ainsi que les notions alternatives qui peuplent le champ discursif \u00e9cologiste.<\/p>\n

Comment penser des transformations socio-environnementales concr\u00e8tes \u00e0 partir des territoires et de la question de leur habitabilit\u00e9 ? Comment nommer le besoin d\u2019une discontinuit\u00e9 historique dans les fa\u00e7ons de travailler, d\u2019habiter la Terre, de faire communaut\u00e9 avec d\u2019autres \u00eatres, de se d\u00e9placer ? Une discontinuit\u00e9 suffisamment vaste pour laisser foisonner les possibles et les pluralit\u00e9s, mais suffisamment concr\u00e8te et sp\u00e9cifique pour ne pas courir le risque d\u2019\u00eatre r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 des fins de pr\u00e9servation du statu quo. La deuxi\u00e8me s\u00e9ance du s\u00e9minaire \u00ab Les leviers de transformation \u00bb se penche sur l\u2019exploration des politiques climatiques et des institutions internationales d\u00e9di\u00e9es, explorant des dimensions jusque-l\u00e0 inexplor\u00e9es par le GIEC. Comment les incertitudes li\u00e9es aux impacts anthropog\u00e9niques impr\u00e9visibles sont-elles prises (ou pas) en compte dans les rapports du groupe de travail 1 ? Quelles cons\u00e9quences l’inclusion de ces impacts impr\u00e9visibles aurait sur notre compr\u00e9hension des enjeux ? Comment la sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 est d\u00e9finie par le GIEC et quelle place trouve-t-elle dans un cadre discursif confisqu\u00e9 par les logiques d\u2019 \u00ab optimisation \u00bb \u00e9conomique ? \u00c0 un moment de l’histoire o\u00f9 personne ne peut nier la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de changer les formes de relation \u00e9conomique et sociale avec la nature et la plan\u00e8te, le syst\u00e8me \u00e9conomique capitaliste cherche \u00e0 se renouveler et \u00e0 l\u00e9gitimer une nouvelle phase \u00ab\u00a0verte\u00a0\u00bb d’accumulation et de d\u00e9veloppement. Le capitalisme vert propose un projet de transition socio-environnementale bas\u00e9 sur la centralit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 et des entreprises, soutenant que le mod\u00e8le de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui a engendr\u00e9 la crise \u00e9cologique peut devenir durable. L’objectif du capitalisme vert est de concilier la croissance \u00e9conomique avec la protection de l’environnement, cherchant \u00e0 maximiser les avantages pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 tout en minimisant les impacts n\u00e9gatifs sur l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me. Cette rh\u00e9torique est-elle vraie ? Au cours de cette s\u00e9ance, nous nous interrogerons sur la mesure dans laquelle le green capitalism repr\u00e9sente r\u00e9ellement un projet de transformation socio-\u00e9cologique capable de relever les d\u00e9fis climatiques et environnementaux, et quel type d’\u00e9quilibre social ce projet pr\u00e9figure. Nous ferons cela \u00e0 partir de deux terrains d\u2019\u00e9tudes repr\u00e9sentatifs des logiques de valorisation, de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration ou de contournement capitaliste de l\u2019environnementalisme : le march\u00e9 des compensations carbones et les mesures compensatoires visant \u201cl\u2019absence de perte nette de biodiversit\u00e9\u201d, un domaine d\u2019action dans lequel les \u00e9tudes d\u00e9montrent que des crit\u00e8res d\u2019ordre \u00e9conomique s\u2019imposent au d\u00e9triment de l\u2019impact \u00e9cologique des dites mesures. <\/span>

L’\u00e9pist\u00e9mologie f\u00e9ministe et postcoloniale, ainsi que les science and technology studies<\/em>, ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 diffuser dans le contexte des sciences exp\u00e9rimentales la conscience de l’ancrage social incontournable des pratiques de connaissance. Non seulement les valeurs et les cognitions extrascientifiques des chercheur.euses et des institutions orientent leurs choix en mati\u00e8re d’objets de recherche, de m\u00e9thodologies, etc., mais elles peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre \u00e0 l’origine de biais cognitifs qui compromettent les conditions d’objectivit\u00e9 de la production de connaissance. \u00c0 la limite, les sciences peuvent contribuer \u00e0 la reproduction d’in\u00e9galit\u00e9s dites \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9pist\u00e9miques\u00a0\u00bb, c’est-\u00e0-dire un acc\u00e8s in\u00e9gal \u00e0 des savoirs et des informations vitaux, distribu\u00e9 selon les lignes du genre, de la race, des g\u00e9ographies et des classes sociales. Dans la phase actuelle de crise \u00e9cologique, l’\u00e9tude exp\u00e9rimentale des dynamiques terrestres et climatiques a acquis une nouvelle visibilit\u00e9 et une importance soci\u00e9tale accrue en tant qu’outil de pr\u00e9vision, de mitigation et d’adaptation aux d\u00e9r\u00e8glements en cours et \u00e0 venir. Dans ce contexte, la r\u00e9flexivit\u00e9 sur les facteurs sociaux affectant la production de connaissance rev\u00eat un r\u00f4le primordial. Cela vise non seulement, comme c’est le cas dans d’autres domaines de la recherche, \u00e0 corriger d’\u00e9ventuels biais, \u00e0 mieux orienter les choix en mati\u00e8re d’objets de recherche, ou \u00e0 impl\u00e9menter la diversit\u00e9 sociale et cognitive des chercheur.euses, mais aussi \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 l’impact diff\u00e9renci\u00e9 des d\u00e9r\u00e8glements environnementaux. En ce sens, les approches exp\u00e9rimentales \u00e0 l’\u00e9tude de la Terre, du vivant et du climat \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque de l’Anthropoc\u00e8ne ne sont pas neutres, mais s’inscrivent dans des strat\u00e9gies plus larges de production de futurs, plus ou moins \u00e9quitables, plus ou moins durables. Prendre conscience de cette inscription et de cet horizon politique implicite repr\u00e9sente un enjeu fondamental pour imaginer une transformation socio-environnementale dans laquelle les sciences jouent le r\u00f4le de vecteurs de d\u00e9mocratie. Cette s\u00e9ance du s\u00e9minaire plonge dans l’examen de la perspective de la d\u00e9croissance ou de la sobri\u00e9t\u00e9, en tant que catalyseur pour un changement de paradigme radical, s’\u00e9loignant des mod\u00e8les \u00e9conomiques productivistes. En remettant en question le paradigme de croissance continue et mettant en avant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire la consommation des ressources naturelles, des \u00e9nergies et des biens mat\u00e9riels, cette approche vise \u00e0 r\u00e9orienter les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s vers des mod\u00e8les \u00e9conomiques plus durables, \u00e9quitables et en harmonie avec les limites environnementales de la plan\u00e8te. En ce sens, elle apporte une approche critique et alternative de la transformation \u00e9cologique de nos modes de vie, encourageant une r\u00e9flexion sur les indicateurs de richesse, privil\u00e9giant la qualit\u00e9 de vie, la solidarit\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre plut\u00f4t que la croissance \u00e0 tout prix. En explorant les d\u00e9fis et les opportunit\u00e9s ouverts par la d\u00e9croissance, cette s\u00e9ance vise \u00e0 offrir une perspective sur ce projet de transformation soci\u00e9tale.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est la th\u00e8se du g\u00e9ographe \u00c9tienne Gr\u00e9sillon<\/b> – LADYSS, UPC – qui nous proposera une analyse du jardin en tant que lieu d\u2019une \u00e9cologie du quotidien et de son r\u00f4le dans l\u2019histoire polyphonique du christianisme. L\u2019engagement dans les causes \u00e9cologistes est per\u00e7u comme n\u00e9cessaire face aux faiblesses de l\u2019action publique. Cet engagement se fait souvent dans le registre de l\u2019action concr\u00e8te, ce qui n\u2019exclut pas le registre protestataire ou judiciaire, et peut \u00eatre analys\u00e9 comme un encha\u00eenement de moments d\u2019investissement qui modifient les interactions avec l\u2019environnement selon une logique incr\u00e9mentale. S\u2019engager pour l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 de la Terre, c\u2019est en cons\u00e9quence, que l\u2019on soit un individu, une organisation ou encore un territoire, supporter des actions qui mettent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve les convictions, autant que l\u2019identit\u00e9 et le rapport aux autres, dans une modification des modes d\u2019habiter le globe \u00e0 toutes \u00e9chelles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Subsistance, entre-subsistance, auto-subsistance sont des termes vari\u00e9s employ\u00e9s pour indiquer une proposition de transformation sociale radicale \u00e0 partir d\u2019une r\u00e9appropriation collective des conditions de satisfaction des besoins de base, en lien avec un milieu de vie et en s\u2019autonomisant du march\u00e9 global. Pour la perspective de la subsistance, s\u2019engager pour l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 des milieux et de la Terre implique se r\u00e9approprier le contr\u00f4le sur la production de la nourriture, du logement, du soin de soi et des \u00eatres avec lesquels on cohabite, pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces besoins non pas par le biais de la relation marchande et anonyme mais par la coop\u00e9ration, l\u2019entraide et la construction de communaut\u00e9s vicinales. Contre la division sexuelle et internationale du travail de reproduction de la vie, contre l\u2019exploitation des milieux et la destruction des communs naturels, est-ce que la subsistance peut repr\u00e9senter une forme de r\u00e9sistance et de production de changement ?<\/p>\n

Femmes, luttes et milieux : s’engager contre l\u2019accaparement du monde rural en Abya Yala<\/h3>\n

Pendant cette s\u00e9ance du s\u00e9minaire \u00ab\u00a0S’engager pour l’habitabilit\u00e9 de la terre\u00a0\u00bb, nous aborderons le th\u00e8me de l’engagement des femmes et des engagements f\u00e9ministes pour l’habitabilit\u00e9 de la terre \u00e0 partir du contexte de l’Am\u00e9rique latine, ou\u00a0Abya Yala<\/em>\u00a0selon une d\u00e9nomination du peuple Kuna revendiqu\u00e9e par plusieurs communaut\u00e9s autochtones. Trois chercheuses qui ont travaill\u00e9 sur les luttes des femmes paysannes, indig\u00e8nes ou afro-descendantes dans ces r\u00e9gions nous aideront \u00e0 comprendre pourquoi les femmes sont en premi\u00e8re ligne dans la lutte contre l’extractivisme, l’agrobusiness, la d\u00e9forestation, quels mod\u00e8les alternatifs elles proposent et quels sont les rapports entre ces mobilisations et l’\u00e9cologie conservationniste du syst\u00e8me des parcs nationaux. \u00c0 la lumi\u00e8re de leurs recherches, nous explorerons l’intersection entre le genre, la race, la classe et les \u00e9cologies pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 ce qu’est un environnement habitable du point de vue des femmes et des communaut\u00e9s du Sud global.<\/p>\n

Exceptionnellement, la session 7 du cycle de s\u00e9minaires \u00ab S\u2019engager pour l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 de la Terre \u00bb prend la forme d\u2019une journ\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9tude<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cette journ\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9tude vise \u00e0 enqu\u00eater sur ces multiples formes d\u2019engagement de la recherche qui ont \u00e9merg\u00e9 autour du lien entre les toxicit\u00e9s et les sant\u00e9s<\/strong>. Des luttes pour la r\u00e9gulation des polluants \u00e0 celles pour la reconnaissance et la pr\u00e9vention des maladies professionnelles, des nouvelles techniques de captation pour mesurer les expositions au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une th\u00e9orie \u00ab \u00e9cologique \u00bb de la carcinogen\u00e8se, les contributions r\u00e9unies au cours de cette journ\u00e9e incarnent diverses mani\u00e8res de s\u2019engager face aux enjeux de justice environnementale de notre temps.<\/p>\n

Quelles politiques pour les limites plan\u00e9taires ?<\/h3>\n

Les neuf limites plan\u00e9taires repr\u00e9sentent des indicateurs pour \u00e9valuer et surveiller l’impact des activit\u00e9s humaines sur la plan\u00e8te. Elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 quantifi\u00e9es comme des seuils au-del\u00e0 desquels les \u00e9quilibres terrestres risqueraient d’\u00eatre irr\u00e9m\u00e9diablement perturb\u00e9s. Le cadre th\u00e9orique des limites plan\u00e9taires a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9 comme un r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel capable de rassembler les multiples dimensions de la crise \u00e9cologique et environnementale, d\u00e9passant ainsi une approche purement centr\u00e9e sur le climat. Au fil du temps, ce r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel a \u00e9t\u00e9 enrichi d\u2019une prise en compte des diff\u00e9rences sociales en mati\u00e8re d’impact environnemental et d’acc\u00e8s aux ressources \u00e9cosyst\u00e9miques, dans le cadre d’une r\u00e9flexion sur les enjeux de justice sociale.<\/p>\n

Cette s\u00e9ance du s\u00e9minaire du Centre des politiques de la Terre vise \u00e0 approfondir le dialogue entre l’\u00e9cologie politique et les limites plan\u00e9taires : comment la gouvernance environnementale et les mouvements sociaux ont-ils abord\u00e9 ce r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel ? Lors de cette session, la chercheuse en langues et litt\u00e9ratures fran\u00e7aises et francophones\u00a0Myriam Suchet<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 THALIM, Sorbonne Nouvelle et Directrice du Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises \u2013 et la juriste sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e en biotechnologie\u00a0Marie-Ang\u00e8le Hermitte<\/strong> \u2013 directrice de recherche en retraite, CNRS ; directrice d\u2019\u00e9tudes, EHESS \u2013 se pencheront sur une \u00e9tude de cas o\u00f9 humain.e.s et non-humain.e.s coexistent au sein d\u2019un m\u00eame territoire. Rivi\u00e8res, castor.ette.s, for\u00eats, agriculteur.rice.s et paysan.ne.s, partageant le m\u00eame espace de vie, posent le probl\u00e8me de repenser les formes politiques et juridiques de la cohabitation.<\/p>\n

Le cycle de s\u00e9minaire de l’ann\u00e9e universitaire 2022\/2023 est consacr\u00e9 aux formes hybrides d\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 de la Terre soit \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les humain.e.s tendent \u00e0 s\u2019approprier leurs environnements pour les transformer en des \u00ab milieux de vie \u00bb (urbains, ruraux, montagnards, aquatiques, etc.), au cours de co-transformations en perp\u00e9tuel renouvellement mettant aux prises mati\u00e8res, actions et symboles.<\/p>\n

Les \u00ab habitabilit\u00e9S \u00bb<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Le milieu habitable est celui qui permet \u00e0 l\u2019humain de l\u2019occuper durablement, d\u2019y am\u00e9nager son habitat, d\u2019y \u00e9tablir des relations, ou encore d\u2019acc\u00e9der aux ressources n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 sa vie. \u00c0 ce titre, il d\u00e9passe largement le seul r\u00e8gne humain et inclut l\u2019air, l\u2019eau, la terre mais \u00e9galement le carbone, l\u2019azote, l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, le phosphore, ainsi que, sous une autre perspective, les autres organismes (depuis les bact\u00e9ries aux animaux en passant par les plantes et les min\u00e9raux). Autant d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments, d\u2019acteur.trice.s et de processus qui entrent en interaction \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles et qui relient activement les milieux les uns aux autres au sein de cha\u00eenes d\u2019actions, de r\u00e9troactions et d’interd\u00e9pendances encore trop mal comprises. L\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 a ainsi pu \u00eatre envisag\u00e9e comme le produit d\u2019une Terre con\u00e7ue tel un syst\u00e8me g\u00e9ophysiologique autor\u00e9gul\u00e9 – \u00e0 l\u2019instar de l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se Ga\u00efa formul\u00e9e par James Lovelock. Or, la crise sociale et environnementale contemporaine, ainsi que l\u2019effondrement de certains milieux sous l\u2019effet des activit\u00e9s humaines, nous montrent les limites d\u2019une conception abstraite et uniforme de l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9. Le concept de \u00ab\u00a0Zone Critique\u00a0\u00bb permet ainsi d\u2019envisager le milieu habitable du vivant comme une fine pellicule de la Terre, s\u2019\u00e9tendant des sols \u00e0 la basse atmosph\u00e8re, et de penser les multiples interconnexions physiques, chimiques et biologiques entre ces composantes. En ce sens, il invite \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer l\u2019ensemble des processus participant de l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 des milieux en relocalisant et territorialisant les grands cycles biog\u00e9ochimiques longtemps envisag\u00e9s \u00e0 la seule \u00e9chelle plan\u00e9taire et isol\u00e9s par rapport au vivant.<\/span><\/p>\n

En outre, l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 des milieux est situ\u00e9e, circonscrite par des \u00ab limites \u00bb plan\u00e9taires, conditionnant leur maintien, leur \u00e9volution ou encore leur r\u00e9fraction dans le temps et l\u2019espace. Loin de constituer un concept fig\u00e9, la notion de limite invite ainsi \u00e0 envisager les transformations des milieux au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019habitable, depuis les milieux d\u00e9grad\u00e9s aux ruines, et aux environnements durablement pollu\u00e9s ou contamin\u00e9s. Elle renvoie \u00e9galement au franchissement des points de bascule (<\/span>tipping points<\/span><\/i>) \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles, aux temporalit\u00e9s critiques et aux strat\u00e9gies d\u2019adaptation des \u00eatres vivants face \u00e0 des opportunit\u00e9s et des contraintes changeantes. La notion d\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 constitue alors une fa\u00e7on de probl\u00e9matiser la crise sociale et environnementale en prenant en consid\u00e9ration la diversit\u00e9 des trajectoires selon les territoires et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de ressources. <\/span>Par ailleurs, ces habitabilit\u00e9s et inhabitabilit\u00e9s apparaissent aujourd\u2019hui comme largement produites, mises \u00e0 l\u2019agenda ou pass\u00e9es sous silence, par des formes de gouvernance plus ou moins locales de l\u2019environnement.<\/span> \u00c0 bien des \u00e9gards, elles refl\u00e8tent autant les syst\u00e8mes de pouvoir et l\u2019organisation socio-\u00e9conomique des communaut\u00e9s humaines que les dynamiques complexes des grands cycles plan\u00e9taires, ces derniers n\u2019apparaissant plus comme un cadre donn\u00e9 et immuable \u00e0 l\u2019heure de l\u2019Anthropoc\u00e8ne.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

D\u00e8s lors, ce cycle de s\u00e9minaires vise \u00e0 associer et \u00e0 confronter diff\u00e9rentes perspectives sur les milieux habitables et habit\u00e9s par les humain.e.s, notamment dans leurs interactions entre eux.elles et avec d\u2019autres formes de vie. Au-del\u00e0 d\u2019une interrogation sur les limites plan\u00e9taires, il s\u2019agit de prolonger le questionnement sur les dynamiques, les acteurs, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments et les formes des milieux rendus inhabitables – ou en passe de l\u2019\u00eatre. L\u2019on pourra aussi discuter les \u00e9chelles pertinentes pour d\u00e9crire et analyser des formes d\u2019(in)habitabilit\u00e9. Une telle d\u00e9marche s’efforce d\u2019\u00e9tablir un dialogue entre des sciences qui s\u2019int\u00e9ressent aux dynamiques bio-physico-chimiques, et d\u2019autres qui se sont sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans la mani\u00e8re dont l\u2019humain habite le monde ; <\/span>entre celles ayant fait des syst\u00e8mes leur cadre d\u2019analyse, et d\u2019autres privil\u00e9giant les formes de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et la description dense. <\/span>Dans cette perspective, l\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 nous para\u00eet constituer un objet heuristique car commun \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes disciplines et permettant de faire dialoguer les \u00e9chelles. Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019objet, il vise aussi \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 jour et \u00e0 renouveler les m\u00e9thodologies d\u2019analyse, en vue de poursuivre l\u2019effort engag\u00e9 par les cycles de s\u00e9minaires interdisciplinaires du Centre des Politiques de la Terre. Enfin, il sera question de mettre en \u00e9vidence les formes de gouvernance des milieux, qu\u2019ils soient habitables ou inhabitables, en vue de r\u00e9interroger la place de l\u2019action publique dans les \u00e9volutions que conna\u00eet notre plan\u00e8te et les enjeux soulev\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re d\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9s et de justice socio-environnementale. La production de connaissances, tout comme les repr\u00e9sentations et les imaginaires, ou encore les multiples formes d\u2019engagement individuel et collectif, se trouvent au c\u0153ur de la transformation des modes d\u2019habiter durablement la Terre.<\/span><\/p>\n
