Le label Culture Libre, cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Wikim\u00e9dia France en 2022, \u00e9value une institution culturelle qui int\u00e8gre l’open content \u00e0 ses pratiques num\u00e9riques : son attribution aux biblioth\u00e8ques et mus\u00e9es d’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 atteste de la qualit\u00e9 de l’ensemble des d\u00e9marches, strat\u00e9gies et actions mises en place<\/strong> qui, du choix de la licence \u00e0 la prise en main d\u2019outils num\u00e9riques, exprime la convergence des besoins op\u00e9rationnels des institutions culturelles et l\u2019\u00e9volution des usages du grand public. Ce label implique ainsi un engagement pr\u00e9alable de l\u2019institution ou sa tutelle autour de six principes d\u00e9crits dans la Charte d\u2019engagement pour l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9, l\u2019ouverture et la diffusion de contenus libres par les institutions culturelles.<\/a><\/p>\n

Dans une d\u00e9marche de promotion et de diffusion des contenus sous licence libre depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, cet engagement prolonge les missions statutaires de diffusion de la culture et de l’information scientifique et technique, r\u00e9pondant \u00e9galement aux orientations strat\u00e9giques d’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9<\/strong>, dont voici les plus pertinentes : privil\u00e9gier et promouvoir l\u2019open access et l\u2019open data, \u0153uvrer \u00e0 la visibilit\u00e9, \u00e0 la diss\u00e9mination et \u00e0 la circulation de contenus fiables et de qualit\u00e9 sur le web, soutenir le dialogue sciences-soci\u00e9t\u00e9 par des manifestations physiques ou num\u00e9riques accessibles au plus grand nombre, valoriser le patrimoine scientifique et culturel de l\u2019universit\u00e9, ou encore d\u00e9velopper des services en ligne de diffusion et de m\u00e9diation.<\/p>\n

Enfin, cet engagement en faveur de l\u2019open content appara\u00eet dans les activit\u00e9s de l’\u00e9tablissement, notamment autour de la Banque d\u2019images et de la biblioth\u00e8que num\u00e9rique de la BIU Sant\u00e9. Son h\u00e9ritage inclut des projets de versement dans Wikim\u00e9dia Commons et Wikidata<\/strong>, les conventions de partenariat sign\u00e9es avec Wikim\u00e9dia, la formation d\u2019agents \u00e0 la contribution gr\u00e2ce aux interventions de personnes ressources, la participation r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e aux journ\u00e9es Wikim\u00e9dia \u00ab\u00a0Culture et num\u00e9rique\u00a0\u00bb, et enfin, l\u2019explicitation progressive de missions li\u00e9es aux projet Wikim\u00e9dia dans plusieurs fiches de postes. Cette exp\u00e9rience de l\u2019open content ne se limitant cependant pas \u00e0 ces relations avec Wikim\u00e9dia, elle repose \u00e9galement sur une adoption bien enracin\u00e9e des licences libres, ou encore sur la contribution \u00e0 d\u2019autres plateformes de diffusion ouverte.<\/p>\n

Ce niveau de label Bronze obtenu par les biblioth\u00e8ques et mus\u00e9es<\/strong> d’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9<\/strong> requiert deux crit\u00e8res indispensables : l’adoption de licences libres compatibles avec les projets Wikim\u00e9dia pour les num\u00e9risations d\u2019\u0153uvres et documents, ainsi que la communication aupr\u00e8s du public sur la politique d\u2019open content de l\u2019institution. L\u2019obtention de ce label Culture libre constitue une reconnaissance du chemin parcouru dans les d\u00e9marches d\u2019ouverture des donn\u00e9es et contenus.<\/strong> Ainsi, ces activit\u00e9s pourront \u00eatre ancr\u00e9es plus solidement dans la vie de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement, en envisageant plus clairement l\u2019approfondissement, par le travail \u00e0 une syst\u00e9matisation des versements, ou en int\u00e9grant d\u00e8s l\u2019origine les ambitions de la diffusion ouverte dans les nouveaux projets, au nombre desquels l\u2019informatisation du Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Histoire de la M\u00e9decine.<\/p>\n
