L’objectif de ce manuel d’enseignement est d\u2019apporter aux \u00e9tudiants les connaissances scientifiques n\u00e9cessaires pour comprendre des enjeux de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 majeurs comme le r\u00e9chauffement climatique\u00a0ou la\u00a0radioactivit\u00e9.<\/strong> L’auteur, Guillaume Blanc, \u00e9claire ainsi des enjeux de premi\u00e8re importance par le prisme de la m\u00e9thode scientifique, dans une volont\u00e9 de ne pas laisser les \u00e9tudiants seuls face aux controverses pr\u00e9sentes dans le paysage m\u00e9diatique.<\/p>\n

L’ouvrage se compose de cinq chapitres : La m\u00e9thode scientifique, Nucl\u00e9aire et radioactivit\u00e9, Le r\u00e9chauffement climatique, L\u2019\u00e9nergie et le CO2 <\/em>et Ondes \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques et sant\u00e9<\/em>. Il est le fruit d’un travail r\u00e9parti sur une ann\u00e9e, mobilisant une illustratrice scientifique, un \u00e9diteur et un chef de projet. L’ouvrage, r\u00e9dig\u00e9 au format LaTeX, est publi\u00e9 en acc\u00e8s ouvert sur la plateforme OPUS<\/strong><\/a> aux formats HTML et PDF ; une version imprim\u00e9e sera mise \u00e0 disposition des \u00e9tudiants et de la biblioth\u00e8que de l’universit\u00e9. La publication en acc\u00e8s ouvert, avec des licences Creative Commons favorisant les r\u00e9utilisations, permet de prolonger les liens entre science et soci\u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u00e9vidence dans l\u2019ouvrage.<\/strong><\/p>\n
