R\u00e9alis\u00e9s par le peintre Marten Sagemolen (vers 1620-1669) sous la direction de l\u2019anatomiste Johannes van Horne (1621-1670), ils d\u00e9crivent syst\u00e9matiquement les muscles de l\u2019homme. Cet ensemble consid\u00e9rable, perdu depuis le milieu du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle, a fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un colloque international en juin 2021 et <strong>est expos\u00e9 au Mus\u00e9e d\u2019histoire de la m\u00e9decine du lundi 15 novembre 2021 au samedi 15 janvier 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=\u00a0\u00bb1_4&Prime;][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb3.19.11&Prime; z_index_tablet=\u00a0\u00bb500&Prime;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"et_pb_toggle_content clearfix\">\n<p>Les albums sont entr\u00e9s dans les collections de l\u2019Ecole de sant\u00e9 en 1796, avec les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biusante.parisdescartes.fr\/histoire\/medica\/presentations\/lairesse-bidloo-cowper.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">magnifiques dessins du peintre Gerard de Lairesse (1641-1711) pour l\u2019anatomie de Govard Bidloo (1649-1713)<\/a>, et ils n\u2019ont pas quitt\u00e9 depuis lors la biblioth\u00e8que de m\u00e9decine du 12, rue de l\u2019Ecole de m\u00e9decine (actuelle BIU Sant\u00e9 M\u00e9decine). Achet\u00e9s comme un lot anonyme accompagnant la pi\u00e8ce ma\u00eetresse de Lairesse, les albums n\u2019avaient pas jusqu\u2019en 2016 \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9s avec succ\u00e8s.<br \/>La tr\u00e8s grande raret\u00e9 de cet ensemble et la surprise de cette identification ont excit\u00e9 la curiosit\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biusante.parisdescartes.fr\/blog\/index.php\/redecouverte-anatomie-van-horne-sagemolen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">premier travail de documentation<\/a> et de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biusante.parisdescartes.fr\/histoire\/medica\/presentations\/sagemolen.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">num\u00e9risation<\/a> par le service d\u2019histoire de la sant\u00e9 de la BIU Sant\u00e9, un projet de restauration et d\u2019\u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 avec la <strong>Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France et le Centre de recherche et de restauration des mus\u00e9es de France.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb3.22.1&Prime; Produced by the painter Marten Sagemolen (ca. 1620-1669) under the direction of the anatomist Johannes van Horne (1621-1670), they systematically describe the muscles of man.\u00a0 This impressive collection had been lost since the middle of the 18th century.<\/p>\n<p>The albums entered the collections of the Ecole de Sant\u00e9 in 1796, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biusante.parisdescartes.fr\/histoire\/medica\/presentations\/lairesse-bidloo-cowper.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">magnificent drawings by the painter Gerard de Lairesse (1641-1711)<\/a> for the anatomy of Govard Bidloo (1649-1713), and they have remained ever since in the medical library at 12, rue de l&rsquo;Ecole de M\u00e9decine in Paris (now BIU Sant\u00e9 M\u00e9decine). Purchased as an anonymous lot along the Lairesse masterpiece, the albums had not been successfully examined until 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The rarity of this set and the surprise of its identification piqued interest.
