Elle a e\u0301te\u0301 largement utilise\u0301e pour le traitement de la fie\u0300vre, des douleurs et des phe\u0301nome\u0300nes inflammatoires. Issue de la chimie de synthe\u0300se, l\u2019aspirine reste ne\u0301anmoins rattache\u0301e a\u0300 une filiation ve\u0301ge\u0301tale<\/strong> puisque plusieurs plantes (dont le saule,\u00a0Salix alba<\/em>) contiennent des compose\u0301s voisins.<\/p>\n

Enjeu industriel, e\u0301conomique, strate\u0301gique, l\u2019aspirine a marque\u0301 l\u2019histoire de la the\u0301rapeutique en raison de divers rebondissements quant a\u0300 l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat qu\u2019elle suscite<\/strong>, notamment depuis la d\u00e9couverte de son m\u00e9canisme d\u2019action cellulaire et l\u2019inhibition de la synth\u00e8se de prostaglandines qui consacr\u00e8rent son succ\u00e8s en cardiologie.
