On fantasme toujours le pays qu\u2019on lit en traduction. On sait bien que la traduction d\u2019une langue vers une autre peut donner lieu \u00e0 des malentendus et \u00e0 des transformations tra\u00eetresses. Mais, lorsque on lit une litt\u00e9rature \u00e9trang\u00e8re en traduction, cette mauvaise lecture ne suscite-t-elle pas aussi des \u00e9quivoques sur les codes sociaux et culturels du pays, sur son paysage et le caract\u00e8re de ses habitant.e.s?<\/p>\n

<\/em><\/strong>Ce cycle prend la forme d\u2019une collection de rencontres-conversations anim\u00e9es par des universitaires, \u00e9crivaines, \u00e9crivains et artistes sur nos mani\u00e8res de lire, sur nos vies et fa\u00e7ons d\u2019\u00eatre. Chaque t\u00e9moin, chaque lecteur et lectrice, chaque universitaire, artiste, \u00e9crivain et \u00e9crivaine est un.e co-enqu\u00eateur ou co-enqu\u00eatrice au sein de cette communaut\u00e9 d\u2019exp\u00e9riences.
Depuis 2018, ces rendez-vous sont propos\u00e9s, sur une initiative de Christopher Alexander Kostritisky Gellert et des biblioth\u00e8ques d’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, en partenariat avec le Centre d\u2019\u00c9tudes et de Recherches Interdisciplinaires, avec le soutien de la Maison des \u00c9crivains et de la Litt\u00e9rature (M\u00e9l) et de la Fondation des Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n
