\u00c0 quoi bon la po\u00e9sie et les po\u00e8tes ? \u00c0 quoi bon lire ce qui ne sert \u00e0 rien, ne nous raconte pas d\u2019histoire, n\u2019arr\u00eate pas la violence et parfois m\u00eame nous d\u00e9robe son sens. Plus que n\u2019importe quel autre genre litt\u00e9raire, la po\u00e9sie suscite la m\u00e9fiance. Et m\u00eame les railleries : qu\u2019on la dise irresponsable, \u00e9litiste, herm\u00e9tique ou \u00e9gocentrique, on a vite fait de l\u2019accuser de tous les maux et surtout de p\u00e9remption. Pourtant des po\u00e8tes continuent \u00e0 \u00e9crire et des lecteurs \u00e0 les lire. Cette pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance serait-elle l\u2019indice que la po\u00e9sie a (encore) quelque chose \u00e0 nous dire, et nous quelque chose \u00e0 recevoir ou \u00e0 exiger d\u2019elle ?<\/p>\n

Ce cycle prend la forme d\u2019une collection de rencontres-conversations anim\u00e9es par des universitaires, \u00e9crivaines, \u00e9crivains et artistes sur nos mani\u00e8res de lire, sur nos vies et fa\u00e7ons d\u2019\u00eatre. Chaque t\u00e9moin, chaque lecteur et lectrice, chaque universitaire, artiste, \u00e9crivain et \u00e9crivaine est un.e co-enqu\u00eateur ou co-enqu\u00eatrice au sein de cette communaut\u00e9 d\u2019exp\u00e9riences.
Depuis 2018, ces rendez-vous sont propos\u00e9s, sur une initiative de Christopher Alexander Kostritisky Gellert et des biblioth\u00e8ques d’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, en partenariat avec le Centre d\u2019\u00c9tudes et de Recherches Interdisciplinaires, avec le soutien de la Maison des \u00c9crivains et de la Litt\u00e9rature (M\u00e9l) et de la Fondation des Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n
